I got a question on the final deck safety/general exam asking:
"Except in rare cases, it is impossible to extinguish a shipboard fire by"
Could not find this anywhere and got it wrong twice. Clearly not oxygen or chain reaction. My third guess would be heat, but just thought I would try and clarify. Thanks!
Because most boats are made of materials that can burn – Removing the Fuel component of the fire triangle is nearly impossible onboard a vessel.
